Great Cushioned Shoe

4/5

Overall

More cushioned than the average shoe, with a 10mm drop. They are a totally different shoe compared to the 10 and 11. They took about 40 miles of breaking in. They are a tad tight on the toe box too.

Great Go To Shoe

5/5

Overall

Was a bit hesitant to try this shoe out based on the mixed bag of reviews I had heard about the Vomero but, instantly loved the shoe. It is very similar to the Pegasus just a lot softer and better for longer distances so I tend to use it solely for my Md-L progression runs and Long runs. The shoe has a lack of responsiveness when compared to that of its little brother but what it makes up for is it's cushioned and supportive ride. If you can catch a good sale on this shoe I'd make sure you pick it up and throw it into your next rotation.

Smooth cushion

4/5

Overall

I enjoyed the vomero 12, so far... I have about 20 miles on the shoe and have pretty good things to say. What surprised me is how nicely the shoe handle the gait cycle. From impact to toe off, the ride is pretty smooth. I believe this is because of the soft outsole and lack of bulky rubber luggs. I do all my mileage on soft surfaces, and I do wish there was better traction. However, if you run on an asphalt surface, I'm sure you will love the soft outsole! The upper is pretty standard with a nicely engineered mesh. Sizing is a little big, but the fit was still good and I wouldn't recommend sizing up at all. Overall, I would recommend, especially if you run mostly on the road. But if you were someone that ran on trails or grass like me, I would consider looking at the pegasus 34.
