How it ranks
The Nike Flyknit Lunar 2 ranks among the stronger daily trainers in our data. Looks and comfort are its strongest sub-ratings. Value scores well below its other sub-ratings. The rating rests on 21 runner reviews and 2 other rated shoes in the Lunar product line.
Confidence
How settled the rating is against every other rated shoe. A shoe can rate high on confidence with relatively few reviews of its own when its product line has a long record and external ratings from retailer sites agree. Confidence will score low when we have few ratings or when runners disagree.
Confidence
90/100
“Light. Well cushioned but plenty of "road feel"”
“Not the best tread on them so at times (mainly on trails) I get nervous about slipping or losing grip”
“In the 250–280mi range, the deterioration is clearly visible”
“Runs narrow but I have a narrow foot so it's perfect”
“The flyknit material really does mold to the shape of your foot over time”
“Very nice compromise of support (cushion), but with good response”
“Snug fit everywhere but has a slightly wider toe box that I like”
“A moderate amount of cushion strike a nice balance between responsive and protective”
“Low profile so it doesn't chaff against my ankles”
“Smooth interior with no need to wear socks”
