How it ranks
The Saucony Ride 6 trails most daily trainers in our data. Value and cushioning are its strongest sub-ratings. Comfort scores well below its other sub-ratings. The rating rests on 40 runner reviews and 10 other rated shoes in the Ride product line.
Confidence
How settled the rating is against every other rated shoe. A shoe can rate high on confidence with relatively few reviews of its own when its product line has a long record and external ratings from retailer sites agree. Confidence will score low when we have few ratings or when runners disagree.

“A great cushioned shoe that places more emphasis on forefoot cushioning and manages to avoid feeling clunky”
“My bony heel has a tendency to puncture the liner at about 200 miles”
“After 300 miles, I can feel the cushioning wearing out”
“They do tend to wear out really fast, especially when I wear them for speed workouts”
“Rarely get injured. No stress fractures ever, a mild case of plantar fasciitis once, and a freak twisted knee on a patch of ice.”
“Not as soft as I wanted coming from Nike Pegasus but feels faster which is good”
“The laces come untied easily”
“It's a bit heavier than my ideal for faster running”
“It's comfortable for my medium arch, neutral feet and light frame”
“The traction wears down pretty quickly”
