Another solid everyday trainer

Overall

I've been running in versions of the Endorphin Speed for about 5 years. They've proven to be a good everyday trainer for my needs. They have a nylon plate rather than carbon, and I have found them to be comfortable, moderately cushioned shoe that feels like a normal shoe, not a supershoe. I use them for my recovery runs, long runs, and the occasional workout, and they work well for all of those. They are a bit lacking traction for trails or mud, but I do plenty of running on grass and gravel, just nothing too slick or technical. The latest version seemed to put a bit of pressure on my ankle bone (unlike prior versions) but I was able to fix that by using a "heel-lock" lacing pattern. Otherwise they are comfortable. I generally retire them after 650km and they don't show much sign of wear at that point.

My "go-to" workout shoe

Overall

I've had a few pairs of Endorphin Speeds and loved them all. These are no different. I've gotten at least 700 miles out of every pair so far, and they still feel great. These are perfect for longer tempo efforts.
