How it ranks
The Saucony Triumph 22 is one of the strongest daily trainers in our data. Cushioning and comfort are its strongest sub-ratings. Looks scores well below its other sub-ratings. The rating rests on 21 runner reviews and 7 other rated shoes in the Triumph product line.
Confidence
How settled the rating is against every other rated shoe. A shoe can rate high on confidence with relatively few reviews of its own when its product line has a long record and external ratings from retailer sites agree. Confidence will score low when we have few ratings or when runners disagree.

I use the Triumph's for my long runs and have for a couple years now. I like them for the cushioning and they tend to last for me for long purposes until at least around 425 - 450 miles. The newer 22 model is good, but the foam is a tad softer. I prefer a more springy but still cushioned shoe and I still like the 22s for that, I just feel a little more sinking into the shoe rather than previous version. The color options are fine, I just wish there was a more neon option.
