They consistently perform well and feel good on my feet when I am running!

Overall

I had previously been loyal to Nike Pegasus (for over 20 years or longer when they came out in the "V" series), but they changed in a way that didn't work for me. I did some research and decided to try the Saucony Ride, and I have now been running in them for over 8 years. I coached high school track and cross country for 23 years and do a lot of running and road racing. I purchase 5-6 pairs a year. The consistently perform well and feel good on my feet when I am running!

It took a few runs to feel softer but has felt great ever since. They have held up really well to easy medium long singles and doubles when I run right after work and don't have a second pair to switch into.

Here for the Ride

Overall

I used to be a die-hard Saucony Kinvara fan, but with the new iteration, I found myself straying away from my tried and true. That led me to the Ride, which has been a workhorse daily trainer for me during marathon training. At first, the shoe feels firm and snappy, which is a welcomed change from today's super foam and uber comfortable shoes, and it slowly softens up in a good way after 50+ miles. I found myself reaching for this shoe for long runs and tempo runs, as the upper and toebox are accommodating for long efforts. My largest concern with this shoe is the durability; I somehow managed to tear the rubber off the bottoms within 150 miles not once, but on three different pair.
