OLD SMTC SOB · Feb 6, 2018

5/5

Overall

Had major Achilles issues from years of track work, after 3 months running with this shoe they were gone. No issues since. I have 5 pairs at this point, wouldn't run in anything else. DISCLAIMER..........I ran in Nike's for years, competed in them, trained in them. weight was 155 to 160. Did heavy track work which injured my Achilles repeatedly in the 1980's. Quit running, re-took up swimming and weightlifting thus my body weight these days. Also, was an NCAA swimmer, still train/compete in masters. Started running again in the mid 2000's, had trouble, bought a pair of Sketchers in say 2011 or thereabouts, can't recall exactly. Injury free since. Obviously, I do not run the distances I did before, or at the speed I did previously, but every previous attempt at running failed due to re-injury. I have not run in a race since my last Triathlon, which was in 2009.
