Like Speedgoat’s but with a toe box

Bought the army green version of the Topo UltraAthletic 3 which look sweet for one. Always loved the Hoka Speedgoats, with the Speedgoat 3 being the best. However, as I age I need more room for my foot to spread out, otherwise Sesamoiditis/Plantar Fasciitis pains creep in. The Topo has the natural foot shape like Altras, yet also have a very welcome 5mm drop. Tons of cushion and no need for a rock plate even with sharp rocks. VERY lightweight to n spite of all the cushion. no heel slipping provided you use a runners knot. Love the shoe. For reference I race a lot of local trail half marathons and 10k’s, and have run a marathon in just under 3 hours within the past few years and am now in my upper 40’s.
