not a well-designed shoe

Overall

This shoe is very very stiff, and has almost nothing to offer in the comfort department. the upper is made of a woven plastic material that seems to have absolutely no stretch whatsoever, so the upper bunches up badly around the front of the arch when the shoe is weighted. the heel cup is severely lacking, and after 30 or so miles in these shoes I'm still taping my achilleas tendon for blisters. I will say that the extra eyelets to customize the lacing positions are pretty nice, and desperately needed to make this shoe runnable at all. durability of the upper is very questionable, because it doesn't stretch, it just folds, so I feel the plastic will break before long. the continental rubber outsole will definitely outlive the upper.
