Amazing while they last, which is not long

Overall

I was able to rack up 350-400 miles on the original GlideRide but barely can get above 275 on the GlideRide 2. That's pretty annoying, and expensive. While they last, they are amazing, and I've been able to run 60 mpw at age 35, which is a huge improvement from barely shuffling through 35 mpw for years and not being able to run more than 3 days in a row. Not sure what changed between the first and second editions, but I am not impressed.

Might be a niche shoe, but it's perfect for me

Overall

The firmness and shape of the glideride is different from any other training shoe I've ever had. I love the feel for my high arches and the roll through of the stride is great for efficiency.

Best shoe I've ever run in.

Overall

I have been an Asics guy for close to 30 years.  Used to run in the GT-2000's, tried a pair of Gliderides and have never looked back.  My body feels so much better running in them, I've been able to train more than I ever have because of those shoes.  They are amazing
