I've run in the Brooks Adrenaline for most of my collegiate career, however, the new update of the brooks was very uncomfortable and ended up giving me a bursa on my heel. As a result, I switched over to the Asics GT 2000 and although they break down faster I like the feel much more.

Always has a great and comfortable fit like the whole Asics 2000 series. However, much stiffer with less give than prior models. Can be hard to run in over longer distances.

Overall

I have had chronic foot pain... 3 navicular stress fractures over 4 years. The pain never quite went away until I started wearing these shoes. They were a bit clunky and stiff at first, I definitely prefer a lighter weight trainer but they provided a ton of mid foot/arch support that alleviated the pain in my mid foot and ankle area. The GT-2000 is like the Kayano but lighter. I was able to do my tempo runs/fartlek in them which was great compared to the Kayano. LOVE this shoe.
