Good Shoe At Good Price

Rick T · Jul 8, 2023

4/5

Overall

Solid performing cushion/stability trainer at reasonable price.  Cushioning was on par with the Nimbus 24’s that I replaced.   The Nimbus were marginally more expensive at $120, but they did have better arch support and firmer stability control design in the sole of the shoe and a bit more comfortable overall.   The style and durability of GT 2000 were on par with the Nimbus.  I would recommend the GT 2000 for anyone looking for a quality trainer at a reasonable price.

No Frills, great value for $60

Caleb · Jun 8, 2023

4/5

Overall

I’ve run in ASICS GT 1000 line for almost 20 years, and it’s worked great the whole time. Are there faster shoes? Yes. Are there overall better shoes? Yes. But for $60 (if you buy the older model) the GT 1000 series delivers a reliable daily trainer that definitely gives you the most for your money.
