Overall

I've used the Brooks Adrenaline almost 10 years now, since the GTS 5. In high school, I had pain in my hips that hurt my performance and forced me to take a rest. Looking back, this was probably due to a combination of wearing the wrong shoes and putting too many miles on them. My dad took me to a running shoe store in Eugene. A store worker watched me run and recommended the Adrenaline. After switching to the Adrenaline and replacing my shoes every 400 miles or so, I haven't suffered any serious injuries.

In the past I wasn't a huge Brooks fan, but I was pleasantly surprised with this shoe. I alternate between two pairs of these and got them to go 300 miles before I felt they were wearing too thin. That still seems a little soon to me, but compared to my last pair of shoes, the Saucony Guide, these lasted at least 100 miles more. They aren't quite as comfortable as the Guides, but seem sturdier. No blisters.
