I have been running in Brooks for 20+ years, as a nurse I also wore them at work (different ones from running), every time I would try to change (in the early years) I would get shin splints and join/back pain! The adrenalin's fit the bill for me and worth every penny!

I wore Brooks Adrenalines for years, until they modified the design a while back so that the top of the shoe dug into my lateral malleolus (the bump on the outside of the ankle) and made them too uncomfortable to wear. I am pleased that the GTS23 version corrects that problem.
