I've worn Adrenalines almost exclusively since the 10 version. The 11 is by far my favorite. I think the numbers show otherwise, but the shoe seems to have only gotten bulkier since then. The 14s are an improvement on the 12s and 13s, but I still miss the 11s.

I am a 4:52 miler, but I'm thicker and more built than most runners in that time range. I also have flat feet. Because of that, I need a lot of cushioning and support. Pretty much all of the lighter shoes out there hurt my feet, but Brooks Adrenaline has worked for me time and time again. They are dependable and fairly durable. I replace them every 500 miles, which is where they get worn to the point where I start feeling it in my feet. The only downside is the weight of the shoe. Compared to the lighter performance shoes that Nike and Adidas make, Brooks are generally pretty heavy. Then again... it makes racing in spikes that much sweeter
