The shoe is a little heavy, I love the rock plate that makes trail running very comfortable without the overly thick cushioning.

Overall

Best shoe ever for me. I am 71 and love trail running. Super comfortable, plenty room in toe box. Good fit for downhill running, no foot sliding forward. Shoe wight okay. Ore much better than a costly pair of Hokas. Excellent traction. Even wore them on a hike up Half Dome and no slipping. Thanks for such a great shoe for an old man.

Overall

The shoe has a great blend of responsiveness and comfort on a trail. I love feeling somewhat connected to the ground while not feeling every pebble under my feet. I also supinate and have been frustrated with the large amount of wear on the outside of my feet with previous running shoes. The Cascadia gives me a couple hundred miles more than other shoes.
