Launch 5 mesh ftw

Overall

I've run in the previous two models of the launch as well and this my favorite by far. The new mesh top really conforms to your foot. The shoe maintains the lighter more aggressive feel compared to a heavier clunkier shoe.

Incredible Daily Trainer

The launch has been one of my favorite shoes for years. In college, my entire cross-country team wore them and brooks has changed very little in this shoe since then (except for the two terrible years when they discontinued this shoe). Incredibly durable for a lightweight trainer. The best way to describe this shoe is to say that it feels exactly like you expect a running shoe to feel.

Overall

I've been wearing Brooks Launches for about 4 years now. They've improved the outside mesh, so it doesn't tear as easily as it used to. Very comfortable as a lightweight trainer for people who don't need stability control.

Excellent no BS lightweight neutral trainer

Overall

The Launch 5 is a bigger departure from the Launch 4 than that shoe was from its predecessor. Aesthetically it got big improvements. The downside is the outsole produces a more "slapping" sensation upon footstrike. The cushioning seems thinner in the forefoot and the drop 1 or 2 mm more forward.
