Good lightweight support shoe

4/5

Overall

This shoe is good if you want moderate pronation support and light weight. I switched Brooks from Nike when their shoes stopped fitting well with my custom orthotic which fits great in this Brooks shoe. I liked how these fit my narrow feet well and had cushioning in the right places. The light weight feel was great, but with that comes less support with each step. I feel like my feet have to do more work to stabilize in these compared to the Adrenaline. It's nice these are light weight, but they also wore out much sooner than the more supportive shoes. At just 250 miles these feel like I might need to replace them soon. The one down side of these was I had to tie the laces all the way up high to get them to stay on and that makes the tongue slip to the side all the time and also the laces are a little short for that. If they fixed the tongue and made it easier/more comfortable to lace up so my foot stays in, I would like these a little better. Right now this is my go to shoe, but it's not so good that I will buy it again without trying other options again first for my next shoe. I do like the grey and bright pink design it offers which is a plus.

Ravenna 9 review

4/5

Overall

The shoe has held up decently through the first 150 miles but the treads are quickly wearing out on the forefoot. Not great for people with low volume feet, I have to triple knot the laces they came with to make it so I don't trip over them on a run. The spring that I got out of the shoe for the first week was quickly gone and seems to negate any gains from less cushioning on the forefoot

Good shoe

5/5

Overall

I got this shoe and have been running around 45 mpw for a month, and they have been doing great. Everything is holding up really good besides some minor pilling in the heel of the shoe. The difference between the 8th model and 9th model turns it from a clunky shoe to something you shouldn't be afraid to use on any type of run you will encounter

Comfortable trainer

4/5

Overall

These Ravenna 9’s are a well cushioned shoe and make for comfortable shoes to train in. I like these very much while running on roads and other hard surfaces because they are cushioned well at the bottom. The back of the shoe is very firm and provides support that is much needed for me. Although firm, it is not “hard” or uncomfortable as it is padded. The shoe is overall very soft and i would recommend it even as your single shoe if you mainly run on road and your races are road races.
