How it ranks
The HOKA Mach X is one of the strongest daily trainers in our data. Durability and comfort are its strongest sub-ratings. The rating rests on 47 runner reviews and 2 other rated shoes in the Mach X product line.
Confidence
How settled the rating is against every other rated shoe. A shoe can rate high on confidence with relatively few reviews of its own when its product line has a long record and external ratings from retailer sites agree. Confidence will score low when we have few ratings or when runners disagree.

This is a great super trainer that I am happy taking on the track or for a long run with some uptempo paces mixed in. I wish it came in a little cheaper but if you can get a good deal on it I say pull the trigger.

Hoka's running shoes are the best shoes to run in because they give a little extera coushion and they are very light in weight.

Just two runs in and these appear to be very responsive and have more cushioning that expected. Coming from Cliftons, where they have the cushioning I need but have never felt responsive.
