More colors please New Balance! I spend a lot of miles in these shoes and they perform very well. I had a black strip of the rubber sole come off but I still use them. Been wearing the 1080’s since version 8 I think and haven’t found a reason to change. Over the years I have progressed to larger sizes to minimize black toenails as my distances increase.

Fantastic, get yourself a steal

5/5

Overall

I've purchased these as a cheap trainer since the newer edition came out. Since then they have become my favorite easy day shoe. I used to wear nike and when looking for an everyday shoe, the infinity was too firm, the invincible too soft. The 1080 is just in the sweet spot. The new edition sounds good from what I hear, but save yourself some money and buy the older version.

Really good trainer

5/5

Overall

Really good trainer, very cushioned. Can handle faster pace if needed. Only downside is that it has really bad stability so running on uneven terrain is a bit hard, also takes a bit to break into to.

Lovely to run in, sole wears quickly

Feels as nice on concrete as my Brooks Ghosts feel on gravel. But the tread is heading quickly to worn flat at 150 miles.

Great shoe but poor durability

4/5

Overall

Feels great out the box but it doesn't last. The foam quickly loses its responsiveness. I can't afford to buy a new pair every month unfortunately. Sub 32 10k runner (female), running 70-80 miles a week (75% in this shoe). Ended up switching to Asics Nimbus- little bit stiffer and much more durable.
