Fantastic shoe! Extremely soft and fits like a glove

Just look at the title.  Slightly narrow, but not enough to affect the performance.  Durability/cushion starts to fall off after 200-250 miles.

Best Shoe far a range of paces

Anonymous runner · Dec 9, 2023

4/5

Overall

By far the best shoe I’ve ever had for feeling good at a mix of paces. From 8:30 pace recovery runs to 6:00 moderate paced runs they have been great. Definitely can handle the miles and would probably be good for anything up to the 15 or even 20 mile mark. While a little on the heavy side for racing, they make a great trainer for increasing mileage while feeling better. Not sure on durability as I’ve already seen a tiny bit of outsole wear after about 30 miles but not too worried. Weight wise they are also a little on the heavy side when you’re wanting to really pick up the pace (ex. 5:30 or under paced runs or reps) but a great balance of soft and responsive.

Works for long runs with slight modification

Anonymous runner · Dec 2, 2023

3/5

Overall

I bought the SuperComps after trying them on in a store. They were super comfy to walk in. Good cushion with plenty of bounce, fairly lightweight. They seemed like a solid long run shoe. The upper that hugs the ankle rubbed/dug into my skin and became painful to run in only on the left ankle. I took a pair of scissors to cut out the section of the upper that was causing problems and have had no issues since. These shoes are not good for trail, grass, or other running on uneven surfaces.

Most comfortable shoe I have ran in

Jeremy Giese · Jun 10, 2023

5/5

Overall

New balance FuelCell Super Comp Trainer is a very soft cushy type of max trainer. The curve of the CF plate and toe spring makes it a smooth transition. Fuelcell is so soft but springy with quicker paces, making long distances feel great and fresh. The upper is roomy but maybe too roomy for a normal width foot with a normal arch. I look forward to running in these everytime I want to run!
