Go to easy run shoe

5/5

Overall

Use these primarily for slower easy recovery days, they do take a little time to break in but feel great after that. No complaints except the laces are a little strange and felt almost silky, not sure if they changed this as I don't feel the same way about my current pair. Although they are structured they have enough pop to get up on the toes for strides and workouts.

Nothing fancy

5/5

Overall

Name says it all, gives a ton of structure and stability with a decent amount of cushion. I have found that it can sometimes last over 300 miles but usually can feel when it's time to hang them up around 250-300. They're a great shoe and my go-to.

Gets the Job Done

It gets the job done. Not flashy like the pegasus, but it's a very stable shoe for a flat-footed runner.

The Nike Structure 22

4/5

Overall

The successor for the Structure 21. Not much has changed as the shoe works well for mild to moderate pronators. Cushioning in the front of the shoe works well with forefoot strikers and has a good response on pavement or gravel. Main complaint is the new Nike FlyWire technology in the rebuilt upper. FlyWire tends to dig into my foot during longer runs (>60 minutes) which wasn't an issue on the older Structure 21 (I own three pairs, best shoe ever). If this issue is resolved for the Structure 23 I will probably buy three more pairs. For now I'll stick to lurking clearance racks and Running Warehouse for more of the Structure 21. I do use the Structure 22 for short 30 - 45 minute runs with few issues. Aside from this one complaint the shoe is good, just don't tighten your laces too much.
