Glycerin- not feeling it

3/5

Overall

I got these shoes to handle a block of training that was more mileage heavy and during the winter when I'd be doing it mostly on pavement. I knew they were supposed to be too of the line in terms of cushioning. When I got them however, they didn't feel cushioned to me at all; they just felt like a big block of firm foam between me and the road. I suppose they did the job, but they were not comfortable. In addition they were not smooth transitioning from impact to toe off (very firm/inflexible). They were a pretty durable shoe though which is good considering the price tag . Overall a bit brick like in my opinion- firm, durable, but not comfortable. One of my teammates is a devoted glycerin guy though so who knows, different preferences I guess.

I love this shoe. Own 4 pairs of them. Despite the expense, I will continue to run in them.
