Light, non-bulky (WAY too rare these days), and low/zero drop, but well-cushioned. Great - and extremely rare - combination. Sole/midsole seems to wear out pretty quickly (outsole wear-down plus compression, I think), but replacing a good shoe frequently is a lot better than struggling to find a decent one. REALLY hoping that they don't discontinue the Virrata, but it's starting to look like they will - would have expected a new version/colors out by now. Seems strange that Saucony would so quickly get rid of their only very low/zero drop trainer.

Was looking for a zero-drop shoe with some cushioning and found these on sale online. Tried them, ran with them for a few weeks and found out from a Saucony sales rep that the model was being discontinued. Subsequently have purchased three more pair at increasingly large discounts from MSRP. Run 100% of outdoor miles in them.
