The iRock 2 is not a comfort shoe, it is designed for maximal stability and maximum grip on trails, wet rock, mud, and any other slippery surface (besides black ice or Teflon). Having spent a few years searching through all the trail brands, VJ Sports are the only company who have made a sole from hard rubber that sticks to wet rock like a gecko. This brings immense confidence when motoring down descents on off-trail terrain and, for obstacle racing, also provides excellent grip on ropes/rigs etc.
