Just a Complete Disaster

Anonymous runner · Jan 12, 2020

Overall

Show is far TOO light, no gel in forefoot anymore, flytefoam is far TOO FIRM, shoe is so firm is FEELS like running on cement, stretch upper is useless and heats up, I will NEVER purchase ANOTHER Asics product, Huge drop in shoe quality and manufacture over last few years, poorer and worsening all the time. I will now start experimenting with Hoka, Altra and anything SOFT.

Great every workout trainer!

Anonymous runner · Aug 10, 2019

Overall

This version of the Asics DS Trainer feels lightweight and fast. I can wear them for any workout, whether that be an easy day, long run, speed workout, or hills. The toebox is roomier than the previous version, and I went down a half size because of that.

Sweet Spot Between Speed and Stability

Anonymous runner · Aug 9, 2019

5/5

Overall

The DS Trainer 24 has been an excellent lightweight shoe with a touch of stability. It's sturdy enough that I can make it my daily trainer and fast enough that I can do workouts (or even races) in it. It has the perfect amount of support for a runner like me, who has gotten injured in both neutral shoes and stability shoes. The 24 is also a huge upgrade aesthetically from the 23. As for sizing, it seems to run almost a half-size larger than the 23 (i.e. I had to drop a half size going from the 23 to the 24).
