Overall

This shoe is overall a good shoe. However, it's probably not the best for me considering it has an arch structure that is too high for my arches and it presses into my arch eventually leading to soft tissue injuries. I have been working on making my arches higher so I can wear other shoes with high arch structures. If you have medium to high arches then this is definitely a good shoe for you. It's light, comfortable (unless you have low arches) durable and looks really nice in my opinion. If I had higher arches, this shoe would honestly be the best shoe I have ever had.

Overall

I have a deep deep love for the ASICs DS Trainer. This shoe is light, flexible, neutral, and totally a keeper. I use it for training runs, workouts--- well, just about everything except races. Although I was pretty torn up about the colors for women for a couple of years (read: pink, hot pink, hot pink), I would say that the shoe is well worth the poor neon choices that ASICs has chanced upon. And at least I glow in the dark now!

It has been consistently good. I really like the snug fit, low rise and lightness. Even on long runs it is supportive and allows for a very efficient foot strike and great feel on road or trail.
