Good shoe for distances on dirt, gravel, asphalt, and treadmill

Overall

I've always worn Asics and Mizuno, but neither offered a shoe that felt comfortable, so I tried this Brooks and love it. It runs small (I usually wear an 8.5 2A in a running shoe), so I went up a 1/2 size, but it fits well. I recently ran a marathon in them--and had to stop for a blister, but other than that, they were fine.

Much different than Adrenaline 18

Overall

The Adrenaline 19 feels much different than the 18. It's not as soft, but the cushion feels adequate. The shoe feels roomier, even though my toe still reaches close to the end of the shoe. That's not necessarily a good thing as I feel slightly less stable. I don't like the way the shoe grips around my ankle. That has not been noticeable on previous versions. Overall, despite the drawbacks, I'm fine with the shoe because my heel doesn't slip out, which is a problem for me in many running shoes I've tried. (I've only been wearing the shoe a few weeks so I don't know about the durability.)

I've ran two marathons in brooks adrenaline gts 19 this year and dive loved them from the start. They are really comfortable with the right amount of support.
