Overall
I was looking for max cushioning and the Ghost Max provided a reasonable amount, but I found other shoes that did better. The shoe wear seemed quicker than some of my other Brooks shoes. The look of the shoe is a bit dull for it's class.

The Brooks Ghost Max has been great for high-mileage training on aging feet. Not supershoes, but a bit of that supershoe cushioned feeling.

I work at Fleet Feet and I noticed that this is categorized in the max cushioned shoe department. I disagree. I think this should be in the mid cushion category as this is comparable to the Hoka Clifton. The only difference is that it has a better response then the Clifton. It has a very low drop of 6mm. The cushion is great with less weight. We have been selling them like hotcakes at the store.
