Overall
I was struggling with Plantar Fasciitis and nothing helped until these were recommended by my brother-in-law. For me I could run again comfortably.

I got heavy, strained my Achilles twice in 1 year, left running for open water swimming for 5 years, and then, missing running, bought a pair of these and have been mostly pain free for over 3 years now.

Overall
i don't think it's only the shoes.
i've been wearing socks that support my achilles and, getting close to 60, don't try to catch up to every/any 20-something when they pass me.
but...these shoes made all that possible. i love them.
