The shoes feel good once you get used to them, but before that they feel like they're trying to push and position your foot strangely. If you have shoes with arch support currently be careful when switching over to these, I don't have any arch problems but these still caused some pain there.

I've been running in Saucony Kinvaras for years, starting in high school, through college (XC and track), and then continued with them for 5+ years since then. They remain great shoes, and technically keep getting better and better. I would argue that in some ways they have gotten "too good," in that they are now a little lightweight to be a daily trainer (it's not as much of a contrast to take them off and put on racers/fast shoes as I would like). Saucony also keeps removing more and more of the durable rubber from the outsole, which decreases durability. However, in terms of performance, I still love the Kinvaras and will keep buying them

The shoe is very light, comfortable and looks great! It is a good value if you are looking for a lightweight, minimalist training shoe that can also double if you run road races. Durability of the shoe is below average, which is the only real drawback.

I am a high school athlete and have run on Kinvara's for a long time now. I usually can get around 350-400 miles out of each pair of shoes. I am just over 200 and they are already really warn down to the point I don't want to run on them again. I havn't noticed this issue with previous models of Kinvara's but this shoe deteriorated rather quickly.
