Overall

I thought I loved the 5 but the update has blown my mind. I don't even feel like I'm wearing a shoe. It gets more responsive as you turn-over so I wouldn't even limit it to easy days. Killer.

Great distance shoe

This is my second pair and I have to say that there's little to fault the shoes. I run between 10km and 20km three to five times a week... Around 60km average but some weeks are heavier to focus on an event. I've done a couple of marathons and a 24hr race and love these shoes.

These are my first pair of Hoka One One, for some reason I always overlooked them, maybe because they are not a beauty. I've used them non stop for the last couple of weeks, and run about 100 miles in them and I'm now a Hoka fanboy. They are light, well cushioned and very protective. I think they are OK with faster workouts but I mainly run easy runs and they are just perfect for this. They are not cheap and I don't think they will last more than 300 miles but I really don't care, I would simply buy another pair when needed. Before the Clifton I used so many different shoes (Pegasus, NB 890, Wave Rider, various Sauconys) but I think I'll get rid of them. I'm tempted to try the Bondi for longer runs

Overall

Feel great. Loving the shoe so far. They might be causing some slight calf soreness from having a lower drop than I’m used to. I feel like the size runs a tiny bit big, but the still work well.

Overall

The Clifton 6 is the perfect match for me. Over 60 years old and overweight the cushioning allows me to run with less pain. I wish Hoka One One had be around when I first started to run in the 1970's.
