Great value everyday lightweight trainer

Overall
I use the Hoka Mach 6 for a lot of my daily training, but I prefer a light and fairly basic shoe for most of my runs. I find the cushioning to be a sweet blend of bounce and protection - good for easy days or tempo days on the road. I'm picky about forefoot cushioning and bounce as I'm more of a midfoot runner and the forefoot cushioning on the Mach 6 feels just right. The fit and construction are super solid. I judge a shoe's fit by how snug I need to lace it to get it to conform to my foot. With the Mach 6 I can keep the laces kinda loose and the fit still feels very secure - so no lace pressure. If I had one complaint the last seems a very straight and could be more anatomical in shape but I don't notice that much when running.
