Tried and True

5/5

Overall

The Pegasus continues to do a solid job of holding up to everyday miles and some faster paced runs as well. the 34th edition is great for easy days, long runs, even some up tempo type training. It might be a little narrow if you have wide feet but the upper is accommodating for most nearly everyone. The rubber is super durable and it is definitely one of the best values in shoes today.

Another great version of a great shoe

5/5

Overall

I have had a bunch of pairs of each model of the Pegasus going back to the 29th edition, and this version keeps me coming back. Nike may make minor tweaks to the upper and midsole each year, but the core shoe is still the same for me, which is great. No break-in period necessary, continues to fit true-to-size, and great durability. Great on the roads, no problems on trails. I typically retire my shoes at 300 miles on the dot just for injury-prevention reasons, but have found that I can easily get 500-600 miles out of the Pegs and not have any concerns. The best part about the Pegs: value. Not only are they better than any of the other neutral daily trainers I've worn from other brands, they are cheaper by anywhere from 10-40 dollars.

Usually get about 400 miles out of each pair before my shins start to hurt. Shoe is both responsive and supportive, making it very versatile.

Pegasus 34

5/5

Overall

This shoe has been great for my running. I've spent the last 10+ years consistently injured and unable to run more than 2-3 days a week for 3-4 miles at a time. I started wearing Pegasus again (after a long hiatus because I did not like one of the updates a few years ago), this time with a superfeet insert in my right shoe with a slight lift in the left shoe to make up the difference. I have been running for almost 5 months now without many problems, up to 4 days a week with an actual long run on the weekends. If Nike continues making Pegasus like this I will continue buying it.
