How it ranks
The Nike Zoom Fly 4 trails most daily trainers in our data. Looks and cushioning are its strongest sub-ratings. Comfort scores well below its other sub-ratings. The rating rests on 9 runner reviews and 5 other rated shoes in the Zoom Fly product line. Another 3 reviews would set the confidence on this shoe's own reviews.
Confidence
How settled the rating is against every other rated shoe. A shoe can rate high on confidence with relatively few reviews of its own when its product line has a long record and external ratings from retailer sites agree. Confidence will score low when we have few ratings or when runners disagree.

Overall
The Nike Zoom Fly 4 is a good shoe for speed days or even some races for those who enjoy shoes that are firmer than most supershoes. The Zoom Fly 4 has a nice medium cushion ride and good stiffness from the carbon fiber plate to be suitable for speed work. The shoe is a little heavy compared to other shoes in it’s category, but this is a minor issue. Overall the shoe is good, but it does not justify it’s $160 USD price so it is best to buy it when it is on sale.
