Overall
I’m on my third pair of Saucony Endorphin Shift 2’s. They have a very comfortable upper with good heel lockdown, no mid-foot discomfort, and a generous toe box. It took a run to get used to the narrow stack height but I don’t have any stability issues in them. I’d describe the ride as firm without a lot of return but I don’t race much and I don’t do any speed work in them, aside from hills. I don’t mind the firmness since I’m about 90 kg.
The biggest standout is their durability. In spite of minimal rubber on the outsole my first pair has passed 600 km and still has life left, even at my weight. They definitely don’t feel as nice as the newer pairs I rotate them with but fine for easier runs.
Finally, they are always on sale for nearly a third of the full price. That is amazing value to me. I will keep buying them.
