Definite upgrade over my previous shoes
5/5
Overall
I was looking for a highly cushioned, durable shoe with significant heel drop (on account on some achilles niggles).
My previous such shoe was the Saucony Ride 13, before that the Nike Epic React 2.
Both were fine shoes. The Triumph 20 is probably an upgrade over the Ride 13, with a much plusher, bouncier ride, a promised longer lifespan/durability on account of the TPU foam; and a comfier upper.
The Triumph may be slightly less "stable" than the Ride 13- my heels sometimes brush the inside of my calf as I bring the rear leg forwards.
It's easy to up the pace a bit in the Tri 20, because it gives so much back.
I've run only 40k or so, and I cannotjudge the durability yet.
They also look great in the "Palm gold" colourway.
