After four years of loving this model, they changed and I now have shin splints, calf lockups and what felt like a stress fracture building the day I quit wearing them. So disappointed and not sure where to go from here.

Brooks Adrenaline

2/5

Overall

It's a support shoe. The vendor assessed me and said I needed it. My podiatrist said they were wrong and it's not the right shoe. The material around the foot opening came apart after first wearing. The mesh material is flimsy. The shoe is not as robust as previous versions in my opinion. I would advise being cautious about being told you need a support shoe. My podiatrist told me to use the orthotic insoles she proscribed, and use with a neutral shoe (which should be a lot cheaper than the support shoe). Also the orange / black colour is not to my liking.

Long time Adrenaline runner

5/5

Overall

I have run in the Brooks GTS Adrenaline for the last 10 years or so. The cushioning works well for my stride and I find them very comfortable. They have lasted a long time through all weather (including snow) but I find that over time my toes will poke through the mesh. Their appearance is pretty good but not great. They are expensive so I usually try to purchase old versions to save money.
