How it ranks
The Brooks Adrenaline GTS 22 ranks among the stronger daily trainers in our data. Durability and cushioning are its strongest sub-ratings. Looks scores well below its other sub-ratings. The rating rests on 55 runner reviews and 12 other rated shoes in the Adrenaline GTS product line.
Confidence
How settled the rating is against every other rated shoe. A shoe can rate high on confidence with relatively few reviews of its own when its product line has a long record and external ratings from retailer sites agree. Confidence will score low when we have few ratings or when runners disagree.

“Rough ride with rock-hard foam that's very uncomfortable.”
“Extensive 12mm heel-to-toe drop shifts foot strike to forefoot.”

28 mpw training for 5K and 10K
3/5
Overall
The Adrenaline GTS felt like bricks on my feet compared to some of the other springy foams available from other brands. This shoe convinced me to finally give up on the stability shoe category. Neutral shoes with a wide base work better for me. Pros include a roomy comfortable upper, great durability and lower price.

40 mpw training for a half marathon came from the HOKA Rincon 3
5/5
Overall
I use this shoe for all my regular mileage outside of workouts. I've been buying different editions of this shoe for 5 years, and the 22 is the most comfortable and durable. It's not a fast shoe, and I never wear it for anything over a steady pace, but it's the perfect shoe to grind through mileage, especially if your feet need a little more support.

Comfortable but a little clunky. Cushion is excellent, but the outsole wears out after 400 miles.
