An all around quality shoe

4/5

Overall

While the Brooks Adreline doesn’t excel in any particular category, it performs at or above average in all of them, and thus works well as an all around daily trainer (for recovery runs, long runs), but is not necessarily the best choice for tempos or track workouts considering its weight. I find that it performs well for me both on pavement and crushed gravel trails, and have even found success using it on single track trails that aren’t too technical. The factors that appeal to me the most about the shoes though are by far the price and the durability, as I am the type who often likes to push a shoe beyond it’s recommended lifetime, and have taken the Brooks Adrenaline to 700 miles plus with no issue (that is to say no injuries or noticeable change in comfort or form). An all around quality shoe.

Brooks shoes are good solid shoes but no wow factor. You can count of them to not get you hurt for the most part.
