Trusty

4/5

Overall

The Brooks Ghost 10 feels a bit softer than its predecessors, but is very comfortable. The ride is smooth and it has an appealing outer look. The outsole is a bit weak, however. It doesn't take much to tear up the rubber, but smooth road surfaces seem to provide no problems.

Less volume than the standard Ghost shoe. Typically I run in the standard Ghost 10 shoes and they fit fine, but in these, my toes are cramped.

Ghost 10

5/5

Overall

The Ghost 10's were my first real running shoes. When I was looking for a my first pair I tried on a dozen and a half shoes but decided that the Ghost's were most comfortable. When I started my marathon training in them I experienced zero issues, I absolutely loved them. I never felt as though the shoe was limiting my performance and I never had to worry about them. After I laced them up, I didn't think about them again until I was taking them off which is the biggest compliment I could give them. I felt that the cushioning was perfect for me and the drop (10mm) was perfect for what I was wanting. The upper was very durable and was extremely comfortable. I trained for an entire marathon in these shoes and was constantly impressed by their durability. After the marathon training I took a 2 month trip to europe and almost exclusively wore these. I would walk approx. 8 miles a day (in addition to the occasional run if I could squeeze it in) and they were beyond perfect. I have put massive amounts of mileage on the same shoes and the uppers barely look used. I love the shoes and recommend them so anyone looking for a reliable, perfectly balanced, and great looking shoe.

Consistent, reliable and comfortable for going the distance

5/5

Overall

There's a reason that the Ghost is so popular-- it does so much for so many types of runners. I've been running in the Ghost for 5 years and 6 different iterations. They've all been consistently comfortable for my somewhat wide forefoot, and each version seems to be a slight improvement on the previous model. I've found that the midsole foam seems to wear before the outsole is gone, and that's around 300 miles for me (5'6", 140). My only complaint is the difficulty I've found in finding my size (men's 7.5).

Brooks Ghost 10 EE

5/5

Overall

Overall I have owned 4 pairs of these shoes and the shoe could not be better for me. I have no complaints about the quality of the shoe and how well it has held up over the hundreds of miles put in. I do wish it came in better color options for the EE edition, but that is not a huge deal for me.
