A shoe that seems good for (almost) anyone!

Before getting professionally fitted for running shoes I ran in everything from Nike to Adidas to Hokas and then I stumbled upon Brooks Ghost 9 for sale of Nordstrom Rack and decided to give them a shot. They felt great, but through marathon training I wore them out. I bite the bullet and decided to get professionally fitted. Turns out I was in the right shoes and picked up a pair of Brooks Ghost 10. They're nice looking and extremely comfortable. I do wish they were lighter and had more of a cloud like feel, but they leave me uninjured and help prevent me from shin splints.

These shoes worked great for me. I will preface this with the fact that I wear through my shoes quicker than the average person. I normally get 250-300 miles before I switch shoes. I also have a high cadence (170-180). Looks: I don't really pay attention to appearance. As long as they fit, what do I care? Pros: Once I put them on, they fit perfectly on my feet. I wear the wide size, so it was nice not to have my toes scrunched up in the toe box. They also drain well and dry fast. Thats important since I run in all weather. They are super cushy and have been great on my long runs. Cons: I found once I started doing speedwork (tempo and trackwork), I wore through the soles quite quickly. That was a bummer. Overall: I love these shoes. I have 5 pairs that I rotate through. I wish they didn't wear out as fast, but since wearing them, I have been mostly injury free.

Incredible cushioning

This shoe was a pleasure to ride in, with the comfortable cushioning and plush upper. I put over 500 miles on it and it held up well. However, due to the high heel drop, I am switching to the Brooks pure flow.
