Avoid injury

ProspectAthlete · Sep 28, 2025

Overall

I was prescribed this shoe when I visited a local shoe store, they examined my feet, how I run, etc. And because of the previous shoes I was running in it really warped my form and that could of led to some injuries. So I bought these shoes, they felt bulky yet they were SUPER comfortable. Ultimately they corrected my form and I went on to use these during the XC season and my training in the track. Since my purchase they are still in pretty good condition.

I was looking for a new shoe that gives me a nice cushion and doesn't pinch my Achilles. This shoe hit the spot. I have never bought a Mizuno shoe before so I was a bit nervous if I would really like it. The shoe feels great, gives great support but not too bulky. It has also held up well with my training. I would highly recommend this shoe!

Solid Shoe for Marathon Training

Anonymous runner · Sep 28, 2025

4/5

Overall

I've been running in this shoe since 2016. I needed something that wasn't heavy but had some stability and cushioning. I was also looking for a wider toebox since the shoes I was wearing before this (Saucony, Ascis) changed their design to narrow toeboxes. This shoes has gotten me through marathon and half marathon training. And its light enough (for me) to do speedworkouts in. The first few pairs of these I bought came in some bright, fun colors. Now it seems the womens shoes come in just ugly colors (seafoam green, light pink,). So I bought the gray ones this year. Hopefully Mizuno will go back to a more interesting color palette.

These feel firm and fast. A bit stiff feeling upper but that's what I prefer.
