How it ranks
The Nike ZoomX Invincible Run 3 ranks among the stronger daily trainers in our data. Cushioning and comfort are its strongest sub-ratings. Value scores well below its other sub-ratings. Most runners who came to it from another shoe preferred it. The rating rests on 94 runner reviews and 2 other rated shoes in the Invincible Run product line.
Confidence
How settled the rating is against every other rated shoe. A shoe can rate high on confidence with relatively few reviews of its own when its product line has a long record and external ratings from retailer sites agree. Confidence will score low when we have few ratings or when runners disagree.
Confidence

“Training in the Nike Invincible 3 feels like an unfair advantage. The energy return on each step is unmatched by any other daily trainer.”
“The cushioning is fantastic: they are like running on pillows, but the "pop" only lasts around ~250-300 miles”
“The heel lock is always either too loose or too tight, and I ended up having to buy thicker socks to feel properly locked in”
“Underfoot feel is completely different with like half as much forefoot cushioning”
“The heel counter and lockdown for this shoe was awful, and the forefoot had all its cushioning removed and moved to the heel”
“These shoes not only have me consistently running at a lower heart rate (helps keep easy days easy)”
“It feels like running on clouds during light recovery or easy runs”
“These shoes are so cushioned with very bouncy and squishy foam. When first wearing them, they almost feel too bouncy that they become unstable.”
“The heel slips, but unlace the first two loops, then re-lace them including the extra holes and the shoe fits very well with no slippage”
“The shoe is very plush in the upper, hugging the foot in pillow-like comfort”

training for a half marathon came from the Nike React Miler 3

Personally, I prefer the infinity react 2s.
Despite the cushion, they cause my feet to hurt quite a bit. On faster pace workouts or runs, it can be quite difficult to run faster due to the amount of cushion.
As a recovery shoe, it is simply perfect.
I personally use it as a daily all around shoe.
Not really a fan of how it looks.

These shoes are so cushioned with very bouncy and squishy foam. When first wearing them, they almost feel too bouncy that they become unstable. Overtime I get used to them and do like the way they feel most of the time. However, I worry that the foam is so squishy that I am not properly training my calves/achilles and I do try to wear other shoes in a rotation so I am not only wearing these super bouncy shoes.
