Nice to train with

5/5

Overall

I enjoy the Freedoms for training. The cushion helps with the miles. Once race day comes around, I switch to the Kinvaras.

Freedom

Overall

I've always been a big Saucony fan, and I love the new editions of the Freedoms, but I still have issues with the lacing systems. I wish they would go back to the old style they used on the Kinvara 6-8 editions-- The laces just always seem to tighten up as I run, forcing me to alter the lacing style.

The Next Generation of Light Comfort

5/5

Overall

Runs super smooth the first 400 miles. It is extremely light but snug. I've gone through lots of different shoes but I have never had a shoe be this light & give a sense of excellent cushion, support, and reactivity.

I love this shoe. I was switched from a Kinvara and overall I feel lighter and like my legs do not take as much of a beating. They are also more durable I usually would have seen at least some tears by now in the Kinvara and I have had nothing yet!

Saucony Freedom ISO 2 - Bounce, Cushioning and Durability (BCD) Package

4/5

Overall

I love this shoe's seemingly contradictory attributes of springiness and and shock deadening cushioning that this shoe provides. The cost is steep but it is a durable number, typically lasting me for 1200-1300 kms.
