Overall

This is a really solid shoe series, by an even more solid company. The mirage 5 is light and made for both easy days and can be used for tempo/ speed work. Very disappointed this model is no longer manufactured, but the Mirage 5 is very versatile, looks good, and provides a comfortable ride for up to 400 miles.

Overall

For me the Mirage 5 was just about perfect. I have mild to moderate overpronation and am more of a fore/midfoot striker, these shoes were great for my pronation and need for something with a low heel-to-toe offset. I am currently in my third pair of Mirages and have gotten about 500-550 miles on my previous two pairs. I have used this shoe for long runs and repeats and for the most part it has held up. Overall a great shoe for runners with mild to moderate over pronation who are looking for something with a cross of stability and minimalism.
