Skinny heel, wide toebox

4/5

Overall

I'm hard to fit. I have extra skinny heels that have been known to pop out of running shoes (looking at you Hokas) but my forefoot and toes spread quite a bit while running. I also have super high arches that no matter what require support. So far it's a toss up between these and the Brooks Ghost 10 on fit. They have just the right amount of cushion for my heavier self without being too heavy a shoe. I like the feel of them when I run. I actually forget they are on my foot which is a good thing. I'm quite happy with these. I will keep them in my rotation.

Saucony Freedom ISO 2

5/5

Overall

The Saucony Freedom ISO 2 is a great shoe for fast paced runs and for a great cross country season. The durability is great on this shoe. Size .5 up. The shoe runs a bit smaller. So go up half a size. It’s sweet spot is for runners who land on the ball of the foot. Heel striking would be harsh on this shoe. Cushioning is great, form fast shoe. Feels like a racing flat but for everyday training

Very comfortable soft shoe to go the distance

4/5

Overall

Very comfortable with knit upper and soft foam. It is a durable shoe I picked up for my longer runs to lessen impact while not getting something stiff and bulky. I would recommend for someone who enjoys more minimalist feel for long runs, and it is still relatively light.
