Great Shoe, but Still not the Best

4/5

Overall

Great Saucony shoe, has great cushioning.  Fits on the snug snide, but still flexible.  Great for shorter runs on the pavement and hard terrain.  No traction so be careful on dirt, gravel, and trail.  Then again, it is a solid road shoe.

Versatile daily trainer

Overall

Run over 500 miles in them in the last six months and still look good and showing no signs of wear, though maybe have lost a little bit of bounce. Worn in rotation I expect I'll get a thousand miles out of them.

Better than the previous version

5/5

Overall

Have owned several versions of the Guide series across the years. I don't want to say this is the best one ever, but it probably is.  Excellent fit. Great amount of cushioning without it being too much and too bulky. Streamlined look and feel.  Only small gripe is I was the bottom outsole didn't wear so easily.

Perfect balance. Cushion, Support, Responsiveness

5/5

Overall

As a former competitive runner, getting older is the pits. Knees ache, feet aren't as nimble. With work schedule, I don't have as much time to train as I would like and it's hard to find the motivation to get out the door with all the aches. I still want to return to fitness and these are giving me the relief and comfort I need to get back to a level I am happy with for my age and circumstance. Stable enough, cushioned enough and responsiveness all in one.

Solid everyday trainer

4/5

Overall

Can put 600 miles on a pair.   Don’t have any injury issues with 260 miles/mo.   A bit clunky.   Definitely not a shoe I’d race in, but my go to daily trainer.
