Just a nice all around daily trainer. It's 4 years old, so nobody cares.

extremely comfy out of the box. almost a tad firm, but once broken in the ride was sensational. aged very gracefully. from like 50 miles to 350 miles it was as good as it gets for a shoe, and the ride and cushion was very consistent. only then did it start to compress in the forefoot enough for me to begin thinking about replacement.

Purchased in July for most of my summer training and part of XC. I enjoyed it a lot as my first neutral category shoe. Would buy again but new model came out. I prefer this show over the new one also

Overall

One of the most comfortable shoes I've run in. Cushioning is nice and plush, but is also springy - doesn't have that "slowly-sinking-down-and-bouncing-back-up" feel that a lot of "cushioned" models have. Lacing system hugs arches well. Only issue is some slight heel slipping on one foot (I notice this in most shoes, so more likely my foot) and a blister hot spot that gets aggravated after about 9+ miles.

Overall

First off, GREAT SHOES. They are light(ish) for a high mileage well cushioned trainer. These shoes are Extremely durable. I have probably put almost 1000 miles into this shoe and they are still going strong. The IBR rubber is very thick and provided me with long lasting durability and grip. The EVA foam has held up very well as well and I haven't felt a real break down yet, that being said I do only weight 125 lbs. The ISOFIT technology is SO COMFORTABLE. There is literally zero slip in this shoe. They were so comfortable that I would wear them on long road trips because they are more comfortable than any shoe I own. The ISOFIT is WAY better than the nike flywire/flynit, I have used both. The only negative things I have to say is actually about the ISOFIT. One of the "tongues" of the ISOFIT extends to far towards the foot and I would often experience blister on the side of my foot behind my big toe because it was placed very awkwardly. Thankfully in the update of this shoe they are getting rid of that extra "tongue" and it stills feels AMAZING. The other con is the heel toe drop. If you are a midfoot striker you will find it extremely difficult to land on the midfoot of this shoe. I had to concentrate way to much in order to do this and it felt kind of awkward when I landed to much on my forefoot. If you are a heel striker though this show is heaven. The few times I did land on my heel it was heaven because of the extra cushioning the have put there. I will be purchasing the update of this shoe.
