Great neutral shoe... just not sure neutral is right for me

Anonymous runner · Oct 1, 2018

4/5

Overall

This shoe is 100% comfortable and fits me perfectly. Fewer issues with black toenails than in any other shoe I've tried in recent memory. However, I ended up with posterior tibial tendonitis after a couple of months of running in them. It may be unrelated, or it may be that I need a more stable shoe.

Mileage

Racefit · Jul 8, 2018

Overall

Does what it says on the tin, doesn't claim to be a racing shoe. It's good for racking up the easy miles as it doesn't deteriorate too much - I still take them out 6 months on from averaging 40 MPW. If you prefer minimalist running this would feel a bit blocky but if you are minimalist and feel like getting something a bit more protective without going down the road of denser insteps then these would still do the job. Not aesthetic but if ain't broken don't fix it - I'd buy them again if I was asked 6 months ago.

Saucony Triumph Iso 2

woodsticks1204 · Feb 8, 2018

4/5

Overall

I really like this shoe. The Everrun foam give a nice responsive ride while still giving plenty of cushioning. I also like that the price of this shoe is significantly less than the Adidas boost foam shoes while providing similar technologies. The shoes had similar feel but I could get the Saucony for much cheaper!

Solid Trainer

Anonymous runner · Feb 7, 2018

4/5

Overall

I have had 3 pair of these shoes. They are a solid put in the mileage trainer. I am a older heavier runner so the cushioning and slightly heavier shoe works for me. I like the everrun mid-sole and even with the cushioning the forefoot had excellent flexibility. The durability was above average for me. My gait and weight break shoes down quicker so anything above 300 miles is good for me. I did find the fit of the heel slightly wider than I like but I have slightly narrow feet. The fore foot fit was fine. I have run in 3 models of this shoe and am interested in the version 4 and will give a review when I get a pair.

Love my ISO 3's

Anonymous runner · Feb 7, 2018

Overall

Best show I've worn. Toe box is slightly tighter than the ISO 2, though. I also could use maybe a bit more arch support. But it's my favorite, and I don't want anything else.
